On August 24, 2011, I had an appointment with Dr. Roeder to remove and fuse an ingrown toenail. Upon arriving, I received a warm greeting from his staff member, Michelle.

After a short 5 minute wait, she escorted me to and prepared the examining room for Dr. Roeder. Soon after, Dr. Roeder entered, greeted, and shook my hand.

He then proceeded to examine my feet. I had several questions and concerns due to my diabetes. He answered all my questions with facts. I appreciated that. He informed me of what the procedure was going to entail.

The entire procedure took only 15 to 20 minutes and was virtually pain-free. The only discomfort was the injection of the local anesthesia. I was given written instructions for post-operative treatment and a follow up appointment. I was very satisfied with the quality of care I received. I would and have recommended Dr. Roeder to family members and friends.

A very satisfied patient - from Maryland to Arizona

I moved to Arizona from Maryland and needed to find a foot surgeon, as I had had major foot surgery before I moved. My family doctor recommended Dr. Roeder and so I followed up with him. I stopped by the office, met and talked with Michelle and left with an appointment to see Dr. Roeder. I was very impressed with him. He spent time with me and really listened as I explained my various foot problems. He talked about the various treatment plans available to me and suggested that I initially try a conservative approach to see if that would alleviate my problems. Even though I eventually needed a follow-up surgery, I felt that I had tried all that I could do before I took this route and felt very comfortable with having chosen to do this.

Michelle has always been very courteous to me and has always scheduled me to see Dr. Roeder as soon as possible. If I was having a major issue, she gave Dr. Roeder a message if I couldn't get in right away and then either she or Dr. Roeder called me back with a plan of action.

During my appointments, Dr. Roeder has always listened to me and then explained several different ways of treating my problems - from conservative to cutting edge. I really appreciate his straightforwardness and his knowledge of treatment plans.

If you want a doctor who listens, is knowledgeable and caring and has a super office assistant, then I highly recommend Dr. Roeder and Michelle!

I have known Dr. Brett Roeder for the past four years. He is a physician I would highly endorse to anyone who is in need of relief from pain in their feet, ankles and/or lower legs. Not only does he understand the anatomy of the foot, ankle and lower leg, but he has a unique understanding of people and their needs. Since he knew that surgery was not an option for me at this time, he recommended I get orthotics to help with my foot pain. With the orthotics, my pain has subsided and I have been able to increase the amount of walking, jogging, and exercise I do. Dr. Roeder understood my requirements and he accommodated them. If you are looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and understanding foot doctor, Dr. Roeder is just right for you, as he was for me.
